Noise

Some of the children's friends joined in for a very noisy lunch today. Two other girls came over too from a different neighbourhood, they're refugees from Sinjar, and looked completely overwhelmed by the goings on! We had a pan of dolme sent over from one of K's school friend's mum. Because we take her daughter to and from karate she 'pays' us with lots of food! We were watching the 11.11 centenary memorial on BBC World. I was trying to explain it to our neighbours and attempting to get them to be quiet for the minutes silence. They were really ignorant about the World Wars. I suppose this country has had so many wars, it's hard for them to think about any more.
