I stopped off  for a two hour walk on my way to see my brother and sister in law this afternoon, it was so good to get out into the clean fresh air of the countryside.   The sunlight filtering through these trees was amazing, and despite the heavy rain and high winds we've had over the last couple of nights there were still plenty of leaves on the trees.. 
The extra is the thousand or so knitted poppies at Henley church, I made 23 of them on behalf of my sons family.   I thought the display looked rather sparse but considering there are just over 200 houses in the village, they did well to put on a display at all.
