A nice way to round up our year.

This afternoon we’d Scottish High Tea at the Fairmont St Andrews - a gift from our sons last Christmas. As frequent visitors to the town we’ve had plenty opportunity to enjoy this, but we’d saved it as a treat for our last weekend visit of 2018. This was excellent. Lovely establishment, attentive service and great food, beautifully presented.

Packing up was uneventful, we left as the sunset just after 4pm. A dark run home most of the way; aye, the nights are fair drawing in.
