Autumn light

Yet more Autumn leaves...!  Well, they're falling fast, so might as well make the most of them while they're still around.

We'd been planning to go for a walk in Kent today, but it had rained so hard all night, and I was still pretty knackered, so we decided to have an easy day at home instead - which we did.  Watched the (centenary) Remembrance Sunday service on TV.  All very moving, but especially seeing the German President laying a wreath at the Cenotaph for the first time ever.  Watched Peter Jackson's "They Shall Not Grow Old" this evening, too.

I did get a bit stir crazy by this afternoon , so had a little walk round the block, and called my Mum on the way - nice to have a catch-up with her.  She's still in hospital, but doing fine.
