Blipmeet at Armistice on Armistice Day

Wish I could claim we planned to meet at Armistice Coffee shop today, on purpose... It was great to meet up with another Seattle blipper NannaK today! She brought me a crocheted poppy to commemorate the day (and she picked a glass bead out of a small stash I brought). It was  lovely to sit outside in the bright sunshine, enjoy a wide-ranging conversation, and learn more about her. The coffee was good too, and I received another poppy in the form of a little sugar cookie (extra).

In the afternoon, my sister and I went to a juried art show in one of the big hangars at Magnuson Park. There were so many beautiful items but most of it was out of my price range! One booth was full of the most amazing paper carving art that I've ever seen. If I had a spare $750, I might have bought one showing The Owl and the Pussycat (in a pea green boat). It was truly amazing (Doug Roy, paper carver).
