Alstroemeria

An emergency blip.  A wet day so I haven't strayed over the doorstep.  Fortunately we had flowers in the house.

Alstroemeria last wonderfully as a cut flower.  Native to South America they flower in late summer and autumn.  Described as frost tender to hardy, which to me is a bit of an oxymoron.
