Headshots

I'm hoping to do another round of corporate headshots at work, so was practising with my new lights to see how they'll work out - as they'll be much more convenient to take to London.

So here's me, with remotely controlling the little EOS M3. I should really have put a different lens on, but the 22mm is good at focusing - especially when controlled by the phone, so I left it on.

Well... the new lights are certainly not as easy as the old beauty dish. When I say easy, I really mean flattering. These are so contrasty (even with a softbox and two diffuser panels) - I really can't deliver photos like this. And I really dislike the bright white background.

Disaster. Back to the drawing board.
