A measured weather risk analysis in the morning determined it would rain several times today, but sometimes you gotta take a risk. So, without further ado, the boys got into laying our mid floor. Once the edges of the chipboard were bonded with expanding foam adhesive, and 8 hours later, we were left with a waterproofed floor.
