Best seat

It’s not often I get to fly myself to a meeting. For once an aircraft needed to go somewhere I did at the same time. It is very rare that we have this opportunity but it gives you a change of perspective. We take public transport for granted, be it bus, train, ship or plane. We turn up, pay and go. Get off and gone on our merry way. But what goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen? The planning, preparation. Who puts fuel in the bus and fixes the dodgey door, who trains the driver? Who writes the timetable? We turn up at the airport an hour beforehand, check in and sip coffee. For this flight we had to plan how much fuel to take, account for the weather, etc etc. Took longer than an hour. But it’s still nice to sit in front of the best view
