Peace

A relaxing and relatively lazy day. A rare one, too, where I didn't enter the study or switch on my computer. I drove over to Drumpellier Country Park in Coatbridge in the late morning for a stroll around the loch and made a short detour into the park's Peace Garden where the above sculpture resides.

After all the recent concentration on war, or at least the ending of one particular conflict and a fitting remembrance of those who perished, it was good to spend a little time enjoying some peace and reflecting on that.

Into Glasgow in the late afternoon to meet up with friends for a beer and some food before we went to a concert in the Royal Concert Hall. King Crimson. Now there's a blast from the past!
