Peaceful

It's been a hard day today but we've gotten through it.
We took Kermit to the vets this morning. His legs really were getting weaker, but it didn't stop him standing to get lots of dentastix and biccies from the nurse. It was very quick and he's now in no more pain. It still doesn't stop it from being horrible and I miss my big dog.
On the way home we got gonzo a squeaky shoe and a squeaky duck as well as a new bed. He absolutely loves this and duck is being taken everywhere.
Gonzo and I also had a lovely walk down the beach this afternoon. It's been a stunning day and its amazing how the sun can help to be a restorative power.
My friend Gwen said she'd be looking out for kermits star tonight and I thought this was a lovely idea so we all went out and waved to Kermit this evening in the night sky. I'm not religious but I've always loved the idea of ending up across space at the end of it all.
