Lochain Dubh

Having a morning to spend around Fort William seemed like a good idea when I planned this trip - but I hadn’t reckoned on that morning involving steady heavy rain (in November, in Scotland, who could have expected that).

I decided instead to head west along the A82 towards Mallaig - I stopped in a few places when the rain stopped for long enough to let me at least open the car window.


One of the stops was at Lochain Dubh - always interesting to see what can happen on an island where the sheep and deer don’t visit.
