Baby Maya

The main event of the day chez les hazelhs was meeting Maya for the first time. We called round to see her with her parents Wiebke and Paul just after lunch. My blip shows her resting on her daddy's shoulder.

Maya was very well behaved, and even modelled (in her sleep) the silver bangle that we gave her as a present (see the extra). The bangle is quite unusual in that it features a snake's head at each end. This present is in keeping with the 'steam punk jewellery' theme of recent hazelh gifts to newborns (see my extras from 15th August 2018).

Otherwise I have worked again on a Tuesday when this should not be necessary. I do, however, have a mechanism for claiming back this time over the Christmas vacation period.

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights, and stretches.
