The Cascade

The main photo in the collage was taken in the 1820s when the cascade was first created by William Baskett. It is now crumbling and shifting and needing repair. Quite recently at the back of the estate, where the Rangers work from, they discovered, buried under rubble, some of the original pillars and orbs. They are now in the maintenance yard, and hopefully one day soon, the vision to repair and restore will come to fruition.
