Tractor Tuesday....

More sorting out cattle this morning , then a wee jaunt through to Carnwath with the McCormick vario drive tractor. It only took an hour with its 50K gearbox. Going through Elsrickle I spotted a couple of tractors busy lifting and netting Christmas trees. There were acres and acres of them at various stages of growth.
Dropped off said tractor and collected mine which had been getting a new handbrake . No doubt it will be a large bill as they have to split the tractor to get in to it.
Stopped at this gate way to Netherurd house. The archway is made from a whale jawbone . Not sure what the significance is to Netherurd. It used to be used for Girl Guide camps , but not sure if it still is
