Desk day and not even a dog walk in the morning for a blip. Ironically I had to go to the town to try and sort out some photo issues. I'm putting a calendar together just now; something that I can drop off with clients; a bit of PR and subliminal advertising. (The name is deliberately very small at the bottom of each page)
Anyway, don't know if it is because the printer has a new machine since last year but the first example is not very impressive at all. I was so concerned that I may have done something wrong (I'm first to question myself) I stuck the files on a stick and ran off a set at the machine in Boots the chemist in town. When I went to pay, the girl at the counter actually commented positively about them, and indeed the colour, contrast and exposure all looked fine to me. Even more frustrating the the printer technician can display the images on a fantastic hi res Mac screen, on which they also look fine, its just something isn't right when the print button is pushed.
To their credit they are extremely helpful and are very keen to get the images the way I want. There was a similar problem with the old machine last year- its all coming back to me now- and there was some iteration back then as well.

It doesn't leave much time for the ones we need to post.

After that tedious errand I really needed to get on with cad work from early week work, approaching completion and the sun was well across the sky without much exercise. I grabbed one (yellow) dog and went for a quick stretch at Achaderry. It was very dark but I managed this shot of one of the wee lochans with a thin skin of ice.
