THE FALLEN

In London to support the Prof  who is taking part in the People's Procession at the Cenotaph to honour CSM Richard Albert Dale,  who died on the first day of the Somme, just 25 year's old. He left his new wife and three month old Muriel, the Prof's Mum.  The puddles were full of newly fallen leaves.

I saw the Prof (extra) to the muster point, then strolled through St James Park, pausing to watch a young heron (extra) before indulging in some serious retail therapy.
