Also epoxied the stanchion stubs into the sockets and snugged down the dinghy.
A bit of a problem flushing the engine though, after a good start the water suddenly stopped flowing, checked the impeller the suction hose and ran the pump with an open end, all fine but it won’t pump water through the engine, either a collapsed hose or a blocked thermostat housing.
I will start with the hose and see how that goes before attacking the thermostat.
