Standing at the Crossroads

'Down Your Way' is the subject for Wideangle Wednesday and it's hosted this week by Freyjad. I went up to the crossroads where I can see the skyline of Dartmoor on a good day (that's not today then). It's been a bit dull all day. 

The modern day risks are a bit different than they were in Robert Johnson's time in Mississipi. No risk of hellhounds on my trail or pacts with the devil. Just the risk of traffic cutting through that way on their way home from work while I'm standing in the middle of the road with my back to them.

I survived it, I'm pleased to say. Band rehearsal tonight and that's always fun. We have a gig in three weeks time and lots to polish up and some new stuff to tackle.
