Marmalade
Visted Dalemain House and learned about the Marmalade Festival introduced by owner Jane Hasell-McCosh in 2005 when she found some old recipes from the 1600s in the archives. The annual competition now has thousands of entries from all over the world. The winner has their marmalade made in industrial quanitites and sold in Fortnum & Mason for a year. Well done Janice Miners from Cornwall, the winner this year. I tasted lots and bought several jars.
