Temple at Kom Ombo

Our last temple visit was to this temple on the banks of the Nile. It was built about 200BC and is unusual in that the hieroglyphs show detailed images of medical practices such as childbirth, dental treatment and even heart operations. Given all this knowledge I found it amusing to see this highly unrealistic image of a woman. Rather Dali-esque I thought!
The extras show a snake charmer (but I have to say he was the only one I saw) and another sunset.
