A shabby little shocker

No, not Brexit or any Brexit deal. Although I am in the camp that thinks it was always going to turn out that way.

But how the Opera we saw tonight was once described by a critic. It’s got some of the best known “tunes” and full of passion and is very dark. Tremendous production and performance of Tosca performed by Opera North at The Lowry. A packed house too.

This is the orchestra tuning up before it all began. No happy ending, for key cast members, or for the Brexit debaclé I suspect.
