Showtime

Through to Glasgow to deliver a vacuum cleaner to Russell as he seems to have broken his in attempting to clean up the mess the decorators left his flat in after the dry rot in the ceiling had been fixed. The repairs have been going on for at least two months and only now is he in a position to move back in. I would hope he gets a rent rebate for the time spent sleeping on friends' settees while the work was going on. We treated him to some food at the Banana Leaf in Byres Road to cheer him up before we headed home.
