Modern day scarecrow

There is a field of old apple trees outside the Boeing site I've been going to this week. And I found this coyote "scarecrow" out there in the orchard. I guess they keep the crows away, otherwise there would be lots out there, eating the apples that fell off the trees. 

Another day of drinking from the fire hose - I'm exhausted and happy that I am getting out of the third day! I'll be heading down to Santa Rosa tomorrow and I'd be super excited except that the air quality is pretty bad from the fires. But I'm sure we will have fun!
