Mosman Bay

Mosman Bay is one of the prettiest locations among many pretty locations in Sydney Harbour. As it happens it lies just immediately east of Cremorne Point. We took a first fleeter from our local wharf around Cremorne Point Light into Mosman Bay. There are three ferry stops along the way i.e. Old Cremorne, Mosman South and Mosman Bay which is as far north as one can go by water. There's a delightful bush walk along the waterfront, heading back south past all the classic Federation mansions but by the time we reached Old Cremorne we were ready to be picked up - just as another first fleeter arrived.

One disappointment. The wonderful seafood restaurant, which overlooks everything, at the Mosman Rowing Club was closed for renovations. Darn it. We'd been hoping to get lunch there. Oh well. Can't have everything. Probably best to see this LARGE.
