Golden Light....

The sun is rising before 6.am. It’s lovely to be out and about walking in the early light. Here, near the end of this morning’s walk, the early sun was shining through gaps in the trees on the other side of the river. It was turning the ground it struck into bands of gold. It’s been hot here today... 28 C in the shade. Yet I managed to rake the lawns and then mow them. Luckily much of our main lawn is shaded by our big trees. Summer is on its way...
