A Visit to Brodgar

Constructed 4,500 years ago, the best time to visit the Ring of Brodgar is when there is no passenger liner anchored in Stenness.  So with Elspeth and Duncan in attendance we also toured one or two more esoteric places in the County.

After a large carafe of wine at Julia’s we made sure they were on the ferry for Scrabster; they intend to dine at the Trawler (the Golspie Chipper) on the way sooth.

Once home the Current Mrs Creel prepared for badminton and I snuggled in at the stove with my book.
