That’ll be the day

C and I met up with mum for a great
meal and a show- That’ll be the day. Music from the 50s and 60s.
In the small print it explained that it was a CHRISTMAS show which meant that, along with the pop standards, we got CHRISTMAS pop standards. On Nov 11th!
The singers and musicians were very good. The “hilarious” skits were, err, well, they went down well with the silver-haired audience. The smuttier, the better it seemed!
There was a 25 minute “Panto” which was like that bit at the end of Crackerjack where they dressed up and sang a pop song with the words changed...
For the Christmas music, we’ll that depended on how good the originals were. And how well they worked 2 months before Xmas!
