First birthday

This evening we hosted the first birthday of the son of Syrian friends. Their home is tiny so they asked us to host. I was there at his birth so it was fun celebrating his first year! The mum cooked loads of food, we just did the cake. It was lovely spending time with their relatives.

Today it rained and rained all day. The roads were so flooded I had to carry K to school and got soaked!
