Ain't nobody here . . .

I enjoy following the change of seasons on our allotment. Today it was mild and the low sunlight was pleasing on the eye. I was the only human there today and so when I left it would only leave the hens next door to enjoy the scene. I'm glad I'm not a chicken though.

Tea was a farmer's market cheese and potato pie and our home grown leeks, cabbage and carrots - the pie was lovely and the vegetables really nice! Noticeably superior to the flavourless fare available from the supermarkets. We felt very smug.
