Into town ...

St John’s Princes Street in the bright morning sunshine, with Edinburgh Castle beyond struck me as a different subject for today’s Blip as opposed to my usual. I took this from the bus heading to St Andrew’s Square and an unusually enjoyable spot of Christmas shopping.

A strange day, as updates about Brexit crashed into my phone and temperatures felt more like summer - I felt like seizing total strangers to ask them how they felt about it all. Shopping felt like fiddling while Rome smouldered - but the decorations were going up and we enjoyed lunch in Valvona and dinner with our family just as if everything were normal.
