Day Out At Daingerfield

Beautiful day for flying, and though the plan was to spend a lot more time here, problem to solve at one of our Coffee Houses and then a nail in the car tyre meant not being able to leave till after lunch but we made it to Mount Pleasant and landed with time to drive over to the State park where we went last year to see the autumn colors.  This place is a great place for a walk round the lake, it is so quiet and the weather was warm and wind calm. 
Flew back to Grand Prairie as the sun set - see extra.  Its great to have the plane back and to be able to get further afield and enjoy countryside not available closer to the metroplex.
