Cold walk

The day began unusually early and I was glad when the sun finally came out. It wasn't particularly flamboyant, but there was colour. Checked the cold out when I headed down to get my cup of coffee and there was much time before the day began. It was relatively slow and proceeded to get sleepy. We tried heading towards the Rockefeller center Christmas tree lighting event, but turned back with more than 5 blocks to go. I remember having avoided Midtown during the holiday season last year and this year might be similar. Ended the evening with a fancy meal.
