The Elephant & the Flowers

Once upon a time, a young male elephant decided to go on a solitary trip to enjoy the sights of Nature.
After a long discovery journey, the elephant arrived at a vast field adorned with thousands of flowers of all color. He became mesmerized by so much beauty and said:"If I continue walking, I will tread on the flowers and destroy them! How I wish I could stand amidst their fragrant beauty forever  !" 
Ganesha heard him and promised that when the time would come for him to leave the Earth, he would be able to stand above the flowers in his next life.
Today, this romantic elephant belongs to a holy mandala forever happy.
