Staffordshire in Autumn

I was a lunching lady today, meeting up with some ex work colleagues.  They all live in Wolverhampton or even further north so we usually meet somewhere between Wolverhampton and Stafford.  Today we were near Brocton on the edge of Cannock Chase.  Very nice it was too.  It's interesting how some trees hang on to their leaves longer than others.

Thank you to those of you who sent good wishes to my sister.  She is still in Worcester Hospital.  We will be setting off down the M5 imminently.  They at first thought she had given herself a hernia but now seem to be thinking it's an internal bleed.  They are thinking about what action to take...
