Langdale Valley

PLEASE look large on black! - It looks nothing on white!

At last, a dry, good day. Headed to Blea Tarn with the group, stopping at this fabulous viewpoint over the Langdale Valley on the way.

The lighting was dramatic and exciting, provided you had the patience to wait for the light simultaneously to hit the trees, the wall, and the far fells! I stood in the same place for about 45 minutes waiting for the light to develop.
