The Halifax in Halifax

This is the former Head Office of the Halifax Permanent Building Society on Commercial Street, Halifax.
Originally built in1903 as a Department Store, in 1921 it became the Head Office of the Society and renamed 'Permanent Buildings'.  It is now a Branch Office of 'The Halifax'.
A typically impressive Victorian building.  I regret I don't know to what use the upper floors have been put.
