Thanksgiving Blessings

Today my granddaughter and I delivered the pumpkin bread that we baked the other day to all our neighbors on our street. This is the tradition of giving that we started four years ago and we look forwarded to doing it together again. As we walked the neighborhood, it even felt like Fall as the temperatures were cooler this afternoon.
My husband and I tried very much to teach our children to be givers over being takers. Now it is a joy to help nurture a spirit of gratitude and generosity in my granddaughter.
