This morning shows a new statue to the wonderhorse Kauto Star, who has just retired from racing. This is Haydock Park Racecourse.

The horse was present at the unveiling and then led the parade of runners in the Betfair Chase for 2012. Kauto won this race four times.

He wanted to know why he was not allowed to run.
