Fiona Friday. Sin Sol: Forest Memory

We thot we’d go to the zoo but the weather wasn’t as good as predicted so for our field trip we went by the Henry Art Gallery to see the show “Between Bodies”..installations about relations “about human and more than human bodies within the text of ecological change”  way too much “artspeak” for me to comprehend, but some good visuals including this whole room of the forest in smoke (very apt for now) with ipads that hung down and you could see some avatars and read obscure poetry about the destruction of the earth.     It was a beautiful room but I wish it was a bit easier to understand (!!!)  (if you are interested you can read the extra and explain it!~)   At home we started on a book “A few of our Favorite things”…much easier!  and more fun. (extra)   Will blip when we are finished.   Ate pizza and toasted cheese at a table set for a 5 star restaurant with Charlotte the doll in the 4th seat and read a bit before taking her home. .
