V and A Dundee

A good night's sleep and leisurely breakfast, and then out to the new V and A in Dundee, part of the redeveloped Waterfront, and it was very impressive. A wonderful exhibition on Ocean-going liners, finishing with a large chunk of the Titanic, and then the Scottish design galleries with a Charles Rennie Macintosh room - the whole building is very impressive. Out to Discovery Point as well - back for lunch, before driving up the coast to Arbroath and a long coastal walk along the red cliffs. We then picked up some Smokies and headed back for the woodburner, the wine and, after smoked fish and crumble, whisky again :)
