Wearing Top Hats

The house smells vaguely festive one minute and nauseous the next - Plums (from one of our caravan adventures in August) red wine vinegar, sugar and lots and lots of spices are the ingredients of the Spiced Plum Chutney I've just made - Hope it tastes better than it smells!!

It's been a beautiful day.  Friend R called this morning which was lovely and we chatted, chatted and chatted, drank coffee, ate biscuits and chatted some more, thus the day has run away with me a bit - All worth it though.
