Oops - I seem to have taken a Blip break - several reasons, abysmal grey weather and the blip mojo went awol; talks agogo including mine which took more work than I anticipated but which went down very well thankfully, but mainly we have been planning our New Zealand trip! This has caused severe brain ache for, as you may recall, I am the world's worst traveller and I was hoping there might be a shortish  less traumatic way to get there. Nope. Anyway, the deed is done and we are off in March via Dubai, Singapore , Auckland and Nelson!  Just about organised. And our Kiwis: son #2, his girl and baby Esme are braving the trip in 9 days as they come home for Christmas. Can't wait! 

Himself is now ensconced watching the rugby - appropriately New Zealand v Ireland. The kiwis have just done the haka - I reckon the Irish crew should respond with a bit of Irish dancing. Himself thinks that would be too dangerous, they might do themselves a mischief before the game even started.  I might have to go and join him in a moment but it gets too tense for me.
