Down in the woods of Osborne House the conditions were perfect this morning to carry on with the job of burning the surplus felled logs and branches.

As the temperature was just above freezing the bonfire was very welcome and together with the effort of gathering the material from the piles dotted around the woodland we were soon warm as toast. Speaking of which,toast never tastes better than holding the bread on a stick in front of a fire such as this.
