Saturday: Laid Back

We've walked a lot today. Up to Balboa Park, the site of the 1915 expo. It's a really interesting park with loads of intricate buildings and architecture.

It's also the site of the San Diego zoo. Zoos aren't normally on our radar as we don't agree with them in principle. But San Diego has a reputation as a world class conservationist zoo, which focusses on research.

It was great, I have to say. We saw all kinds but had a real soft spot for the pandas.

This evening we tried more microbreweries, 'Resolute' and 'Stone'.
