Managed to break my tripod today.

I was out this afternoon, having dropped youngest at créche, for a wee photowander in Inzievar Wood. Was setting up the tripod to apture some reflections in standing water and when I released one leg, it didn't slide out as usual. A gentle pull on it and the whole thing came out along with various small broken plastic parts.

Oh well, good job I have a spare. Bad thing about that is that I now to have to buy a new spare/primary tripod.

Not to worry about that, I found this spiders web with the sun hitting it obliquely. It was just gorgeous. Simple crop, boost of clarity and voila :)
