Fantail

We have been down to Fairlie area for the Canterbury Anniversary weekend. Took an extra day to get there and stopped over at Arundel by the Rangitata river for the night.  With the recent storm the river must have been in flood and a lot of debris made access to the river too difficult.  This cute little guy made up for it and was flitting about with a very dark one, not sure if it was a black phase or juvenile.  Didn't get a good shot of it but went back next day with more success.
