Orphan bridge
On the section of the disused Lancaster Canal, between Sedgwick and Natland, there are two bridges. They look rather odd now they serve no particular purpose other than to decorate the landscape. Additionally they add variety and interest to the two-mile walk that is rapidly becoming a firm favourite.
