Going for it

Detail from our walk this morning. 

We took a longer than usual daily dog walk, opting for Boucle No 9, a circuit of roughly 8.5 Km that comes out at a little more than that by the time that we have walked to and from the route. Not quite 10K. I was aiming for 2 1/4 hrs and came in at 2:14:07, so very well pleased with that. It's not so very long since I couldn't walk for half an hour without sitting down to rest my sore bits.

It's a rather glorious Autumn day, a little cooler than of late at around 12 degrees but a deep blue sky filled with sun and migrating geese but no clouds at all.

Still many flowers in bloom on our way around. These pelargoniums still at it quite vigorously.

Things are set to change tomorrow with sub zero temperatures and even a little snow predicted.
