Back to Roots - well not exactly

So our joint birthday celebration, tête à tête, is at Roots. Can’t say back to Roots as have never been.

Husband whinged all week, too pretentious etc. Taster menus, flowers and foam. But they are always at the top of TA, and rave reviews. So seeing as they did a fairly classic Sunday menu, I was ready to try.

Well I’ve been vindicated. Rare 9s and 10s from Mr B for the food. Wish I had room for dessert.

He’s off round the block to complete his hourly Fitbit target. An opportunity to Blip.
